This is a healthy, no-bake snack that is both adorable and delicious.
Ingredients:
- Bananas
- Mini chocolate chips or small raisins
- Clementine oranges or mandarins
- Celery stick or green fruit leather
Instructions:
- For the Ghosts: Peel the bananas and cut them in half. Stand the banana halves upright on a plate.
- Have your kids gently press two mini chocolate chips or raisins into each banana for the “eyes” and another one for the “mouth.”
- For the Pumpkins: Peel the clementine oranges.
- Cut small pieces of celery stick or green fruit leather to resemble pumpkin stems.
- Have your kids carefully insert a “stem” into the top of each clementine.
Kid’s Corner:
- Peeling & Slicing: Older kids can help peel and cut the bananas.
- Decorating: Let them place the eyes and mouths on the banana ghosts.
- Assembling: They can help peel the oranges and place the “stems” on the pumpkins.
