These easy, spooky pretzels are the perfect combination of salty and sweet. They’re a quick and fun treat to make for Halloween or any spider-themed occasion.

Ingredients

  • For the ‘Spiderweb’:
    • Thin pretzel sticks1
    • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips or candy melts
    • 1 (1.55-ounce) bar of milk chocolate, or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • For the ‘Spiders’:
    • Chocolate candy (like a chocolate M&M or a small chocolate candy melt) or a small plastic spider2

Tools

  • Wax paper or parchment paper3
  • Microwave-safe bowl4
  • Spoon or small piping bag

Instructions

  1. Prepare the webs. Lay a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper on a flat surface. Arrange 5-6 pretzel sticks on the paper to form a star-like shape, creating the base of your spiderweb.
  2. Melt the chocolate. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth.
  3. Create the ‘web’. Using a spoon or a piping bag with a small tip, drizzle the melted white chocolate over the pretzel sticks, starting from the center and creating concentric circles to form a spiderweb pattern.5
  4. Add the ‘spider’. While the white chocolate is still wet, place a chocolate candy in the center of the web to act as the spider’s body.
  5. Let them set. Place the pretzels in the refrigerator for about 10-15 minutes, or until the white chocolate is completely set.
  6. Serve. Carefully peel the “Spiderweb” Pretzels off the wax paper and serve immediately.
